Fox's adaption of the comic strip Great Dane Marmaduke will feature Owen Wilson as the voice of Marmaduke.
The film also features the voices of Ron Perlman, Amanda Seyfried and Jeremy Piven.
The original comic strip, created by Brad Anderson and Phil Leeming, is adapted into a script about Marmaduke in a stormy mutts vs. pedigrees war.
Directed by Tom Dey, the film is set for June and July 2010 worldwide release.
Wilson also stars in Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox as the voice of Coach Skip. The 20th Century Fox animation production has a shiny star cast with George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray and Willem Dafoe.
Fantastic Mr Fox revolves around a gangster-like fox who has to give up his wild lifestyle to become more responsible. But not before trying "one last raid" on the three nastiest farmers.
Following a premier at the AFI festival late in October, Mr Fox will release to the public internationally November 13 onwards.
