A Quiet Place: A game of Monopoly goes seriously awry in exclusive clip
The horror was a big hit at SXSW
John Krasinski makes a first directorial foray into horror with A Quiet Place, also starring in the movie opposite his wife Emily Blunt.
The film's premise is a simple but suspenseful one:
'A family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you.'
Cue monsters lurking inches from terrified humans' faces, just waiting for a single whimper so they can locate them and go in for the kill.
This morning we bring you an exclusive clip, seeing the code of silence broken during a family game of Monopoly.
The film premiered at SXSW earlier this month to rave reviews, currently holding a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
A Quiet Place is in cinemas from 5 April, with nationwide previews on bank holiday Monday (2 April).
