Your support makes all the difference.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, the first of the two-part finale in the Harry Potter series, will hit theaters this weekend. As a special event, 140 theaters across the US are planning marathons prior to the midnight showings on November 19.
On November 18 the AMC Theater chain will screen the fifth and sixth installments of the film franchise - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - leading up to the seventh film.
The "Three Movies. One Night" event begin at 6:00 pm and costs only $20 for the three films, including a collective commemorative lanyard.
The theater chain is running a contest in which fans name their favorite Harry Potter character for the chance to win tickets. Currently Hermione Granger is in first place with more than 6,000 votes and almost twice the votes as the titular character.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, the penultimate fantasy adventure in the series, stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson. Also returning are Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman, and Bill Nighy.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will follow in 3D on July 15, 2011.
