Chris O'Dowd plays their manager. Born in Darwin, Australia, she was the runner-up on Australian Idol aged 17 and has been pegged as one to watch in Hollywood since the film's premiere at Toronto Film Festival last month. She also co-wrote a punchy pop song "Gotcha" for the soundtrack. In all, not a bad effort for her first feature film.
