The Grand Budapest Hotel was the big winner at last night's film awards

It was a big night for British film last night as some of the movie business’ top stars hit the Red Carpet at London's Royal Opera House for the 2015 Bafta Awards.
There was no surprise in the Best Picture category with Richard Linklater's coming of age film Boyhood taking home the top prize, while JK Simmons and Patricia Arquette picked up the Best Supporting Actor and Actress gongs for Whiplash and Boyhood respectively.
Mike Leigh's film Mr Turner may have missed out on any nominations this year, the veteran director was honoured for his contribution to British film with a Bafta fellowship.
