US comedians such as Rich Hall, Greg Proops, Arj Barker and Scott Capurro have long been fixtures on the British comedy circuit. But now they're being pursued across the Atlantic by a Canadian comedy invasion. Canadian comics such as Russell Peters, Alan Park and Mike Wilmot have already established a following over here. And now they're joined by Glen Foster, a veteran of the prestigious "Just for Laughs" comedy festival in Montreal. A former advertising copywriter, Foster looks like the archetypal middle-management corporate type. But his act reveals someone more volatile, as he quietly seethes about the high-stress life he - and we - have been subjected to.
