Clubs: Club Of The Week
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

What do you get when you cross two of the world's best DJs with the best-looking club in London? Gig of the week.
Decked out in soft woods and bright ambers, The End's aesthetic is fresh and colourful. Next door is the AKA bar, where you can eat, chill or drink yourself into a stupor before the night's dancing begins.
Masters at Work are DJing legends on both sides of the Atlantic. Everyone remembers their first MAW event, and their brand of uplifting house and funky garage, so this one-off gig will guarantee hordes of revellers and gargantuan queues. Unless you're on first name terms with Mr C, you should buy a ticket in advance, as scenes outside will be aggro in the extreme. Once you've negotiated your way past heavy crowds and heavier bouncers, head straight for the main room. With the DJ booth located slap-bang in the middle of the dancefloor, you'll have a chance to witness some of the slickest mixing since Delia Smith's recipe for sponge cake.
16a West Central St, London WC1 (0171-419 9199) Fri 10pm-5am, pounds 16 in advance/pounds 20 on door
