Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

LUCKY SEVEN @ MoS

It's all about MoS in clubland this week. Hardcore revellers will have been partying since Thursday with the south London super club, but tonight's gig is the one that everyone will be attending. Sasha (above), DJ Sneak and the excellent Deep Dish will all be attending.

Deep Dish this year, producing some of the best sets witnessed anywhere in the country. Everyone who's seen them has been impressed. In addition to the listed DJs and performers, there will be a plethora of stars, scantily-clad performers, celebrities and wannabes to spice up proceedings.

The club will be turned into a Las Vegas casino to enhance the debauched proceedings, but the success of the night is a safe bet.

Ministry's impact on club culture has been enormous and prospective punters shouldn't underestimate the demand for this event. If at all possible, get down to MoS today and buy your tickets before 6pm - some may be held back for sale on the door, but they will be twice as pricey and three times as stressful to buy.

If you thought that you couldn't be surprised, you'd better think again.

Tonight, 103 Gaunt St, SE1 (0171-378 6528) pounds 20 adv/ pounds 25 on door, midnight- 10am

BEDROCK @ hastings pier

World-famous spinner John Digweed and his good mate Sasha have been two of the most popular DJs in the UK and around the world, and the Northern Exposure dynamic duo haven't shown any signs of fading yet. This is your chance to book ahead for their extra-special New Year's Eve bash.

Maybe it's because of Ibiza, but there's nothing like a club by the sea and The Pier has considerable charm, holding around 650 clubbers. Sasha and Digweed won't disappoint with deep house, and experimental beats upstairs.

31 Dec, The Pier, Hastings (01424 422566) 10pm-7am

ULTRA VEGAS @ the loft

I'm not going to even start on Milton Keynes, but if you do find yourself there on a Saturday night, have no fear. Head for The Loft and Ultra Vegas for an excellent night of clubbing.

Around 1,000 people travel into MK every weekend. After a summer break, the promoters have been giving their contacts book a good workout as Sundissential, Mark Moore and Jon Pleased Wimmin' will all grace the Technics. Get here tonight and you can watch Lisa Lashes do her thing.

Tonight, The Winter Gardens, Midsummer Boulevard (01908 612262) 9pm-4am pounds 7-pounds 9.
