Join in an aerobics warm-up and meet "Elvis" at this It's a Knock Out- style charity relay race which has, over the years, raised more than pounds 700,000 for cancer research. Watch the teams, including some from our favourite professions - estate agents and bank managers! - as they carry trays of Christmas puddings while negotiating an obstacle course.

Angels and Cherubs

Take your own little angels and cherubs to this free workshop which takes place on the first Saturday of every month. Today the morning starts with a chance to look at the gallery's Christmas-themed paintings, followed by a session where children make tree decorations to take away. The workshop is suitable for six- to 12-year-olds. Places are allocated on a first- come, first-served basis, so get there early.
