A website created in support of the book features a Carrie Diaries playlist and a "Which Carrie Diaries character are you?" Facebook quiz. Also posted are the details of ten US appearances Bushnell will make in support of the book.
The Carrie Diaries tells the story of Carrie Bradshaw's small town beginnings and early friendships, how she finds her first love and her voice as a writer, and what leads her to Manhattan. The book is the first of two young adult books Bushnell is set to write.
