The Washington state Supreme Court has thrown out a law designed to prevent children from buying music with 'erotic' lyrics, declaring it unconstitutional. In a case brought by the band Soundgarden along with Nirvana and Pearl Jam, the court said the 1992 law was 'overly broad' . . . The 56-year-old Carlton cinema, one of Dublin's landmarks, is to close after losing business to multi-screen cinemas . . .
