The newest recruit to Magnum Photos read maths at Oxford University before taking up photo-journalism at the London College of Printing.

She lives in Hackney above Fishbar, a former Vietnamese restaurant and fish and chip shop, which she has turned into a gallery space. Her first book, Jeddah Diary, about young women in Saudi Arabia, was published this year. She is currently in India working on her second book about caste systems.
