Your support makes all the difference.The plot centres around two sisters, Fiordiligi and Dorabella, who are enjoying a holiday in Coney Island with their fiancés, Ferrando and Guglielmo. The two couples are taking in the sights and sounds of the boardwalk where the sideshow performers keep them entertained. However, the fairground is a place where anything can happen - and its manipulative master, Don Alfonso, has a game to play with the lovers.
Giant teacups, carousels, bearded ladies and sword swallowers - Così fan tutte has it all. And all of this set against the backdrop of some of Mozart's most beautiful music. Follow the twists and turns of Mozart's classic comedy in this stunning new staging at the London Coliseum. Directed by Phelim McDermott of Improbable Theatre Company, Così fan tutte has proved a hit with both audiences and reviewers, being described by the Evening Standard as 'full of thrills and spills' and as 'a glorious night out'.
Award-winning Ryan Wigglesworth conducts the excellent cast led by the exceptional Kate Valentine and internationally renowned mezzo Christine Rice as the duped sisters. Outstanding baritone Roderick Williams plays the cynical Don Alfonso, who sets the opera's playful deception in motion.
