Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Spotify's Wrapped feature is not working for large numbers of its users.
The tool was launched today and allows people to see a review of all the music they have been listening to. This year, for the first time, it also takes in the last decade, wrapping up all of the songs from the 2000s.
But many users said they were unable to actually load their report. While some were able to connect as normal, others said that the Wrapped feature simply failed to load.
The issues appeared to be particularly prevalent on Android.
Users said they were clicking the big ad that has appeared in the app but that nothing happened when they did.
There does not appear to be any obvious fix to the problem, but force-quitting the app and opening it again could make it work. It may also be possible to access the Wrapped feature on another device.
Though the special service was launched today and commemorates the end of the year, it should be possible to access the 2019 version of Wrapped for some time. That means that it should be available even if the problems take a while to fix.
It can also be accessed on the web, by heading to Spotify's devoted site.
For the first year, Apple Music is also offering its own version of the tool. That can also be found by going to Apple's special page.
