Your support makes all the difference.Apple gave their MacBook Pro line a long-anticipated update on April 13. The laptops were refreshed with longer-lasting batteries, faster processors and better graphics.
The updates are sure to get the PC vs Mac debate back into action across the blogs, with everyone wanting to know if you really get more "bang for your buck" when you purchase a Mac or if it is all just media hype.
The smallest model in the MacBook Pro line has been updated with a new NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor, for up to 80 percent faster graphics. The battery life has been extended too, so you can now take your laptop out for up to 10 hours without having to recharge.
The 15 and 17-inch MacBook Pros now come with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and use automatic graphics switching technology to jump between the more powerful NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and the energy efficient Intel HD Graphics processors.
"The new MacBook Pro is as advanced on the inside as it is stunning on the outside," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. "With faster processors, amazing graphics and up to three more hours of battery life, the new MacBook Pro delivers both performance and efficiency."
Prices range from $1,199 for the entry level 13-inch MacBook Pro to $2,299 for the 2.5 GHz 17-inch MacBook Pro. All models are available now.
