Instagram launches fun Superzoom feature and Halloween face filters
It adds 'suspenseful music' to your footage, for comic effect

Instagram has just launched a fun new feature called Superzoom.
It’s available in the camera section of the app, on both Android and iOS.
You’ll find it right underneath the circular Record button, sandwiched between Boomerang and Rewind.
When you select Superzoom and tap Record, the camera will automatically zoom in on whatever happens to be on your screen.
You can shoot a longer video by tapping and holding Record – the camera will keep zooming in throughout.
Superzoom also adds “suspenseful music” to your video, for comic effect.
Instagram has also added new Halloween face filters and stickers, which will be available until 2 November.
You can access the face filters by swiping to the camera section and tapping and holding the screen.
The stickers, which include eyeballs, jack-o-lanterns and disembodied green hands, appear as editing options when you’re ready to upload a picture or video.
“Whether you’re planning spooky activities with friends or just hanging out at home, get into the Halloween spirit by turning yourself into a zombie, transforming from a vampire into a flying bat or getting lost in a mysterious fog,” says Instagram.
