What exactly is the Piers Gaveston society?
An Oxford University dining club founded in 1977, joined by 12 select undergraduates each year.
Their Latin motto translates as: "Truly, none remember hearing of a man enjoying another so much."
It's named after a favourite and rumoured lover of King Edward the second, an Earl of Cornwall who was exiled three times before being beheaded.
They hold a grand part each summer, once described as a 'very well organised orgy,' whose decadence has supposedly ranged from mass drug taking to live sex shows.
Famous alumni are said to include Boris Johnson, Ian Hislop and Hugh Grant.
