Megan Eaves

Megan is a freelance travel journalist who has been writing for the Independent since 2013. She has strong regional specialisations in China, Central Asia, the former Soviet Union and the Southwest USA, and her beats include dark skies, sustainable and regenerative travel, community-based tourism, trains, the outdoors and beer. She is also editor of Nightscape – the magazine of the DarkSky International. In addition, her work appears in the BBC, The Times, CNN, Metro, Culture Trip and many others.
