The Europa League returns for its second round of group matches and there is a great collection of games on show.
Premier League sides Liverpool, West Ham and Brighton are all in action, as are managerless Rangers.
We’ve looked at the best UK betting sites to find four bets that we’re ready to back using a range of markets and odds online.
After looking at the slate of games, here is our analysis of where we're placing our money on Thursday.
Over 3.5 goals Liverpool vs Union Saint-Gilloise
Liverpool will still be smarting from their controversial defeat against Tottenham last week. VAR was no friend of Jurgen Klopp and his team as Luis Diaz saw his goal incorrectly ruled out for offside, while Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota were dismissed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Reds recorded a 3-1 comeback win over LASK in their first Europa League match of the season, flashing their prowess in the final third and we expect that trend to continue with Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Diaz all hungry to take their frustrations out at Anfield.
Union Saint-Gilloise are top of the Belgian Pro League after winning six out of their nine games. They were held to a 1-1 draw by Toulouse in their Europa League opener but you can often expect goals when the Belgian outfit are involved and their last two matches have produced nine combined.
We’re going to be bold and expect that to continue with bet365 for over 3.5 goals at evens in this contest.
Tip: Over 3.5 goals Liverpool v Union Saint-Gilloise – bet365 evens
Both teams to score Marseille vs Brighton
Brighton suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of AEK Athens in their Europa League opener, leaving Roberto De Zerbi’s men in need of a response against Marseille.
The Seagulls’ defence has been leaky, failing to keep a clean sheet this term across all competitions. They were hammered 6-1 by Aston Villa last time out in the Premier League, highlighting their defensive issues.
Marseille have had their problems at the back too. They played out an entertaining 3-3 draw against Ajax in their first Europa League group game before suffering a 4-0 defeat to PSG on the road followed by a 3-2 loss at Monaco in Ligue 1.
It’s fair to say both teams will fancy their chances of scoring in this one. We like the Europa League odds for both teams to score with Betfred at 11/8.
Tip: Both teams to score Marseille v Brighton – Betfred 11/8
Draw between Freiburg vs West Ham
The two sides both enjoyed winning starts to their Europa League campaigns as West Ham defeated Backa Topola and Freiburg overcame Olympiacos on the road.
The Hammers have been in solid form this season, losing only to Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League. David Moyes’ men sit seventh in the table and can afford to be happy with their start to the term.
Freiburg have been equally effective in the Bundesliga, winning three of their opening six games. Their two defeats came at the hands of Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund.
The German outfit were impressive against Olympiacos, winning a hard-fought contest courtesy of Maximilian Philipp’s late strike.
It will be a tough game between two evenly matched sides, so after looking at the value on football betting sites, we like the draw for this game at odds of 11/4 with William Hill.
Tip: Draw between Freiburg and West Ham – 11/4 William Hill
Rangers to beat Aris Limassol
After suffering a 3-1 defeat to Aberdeen, Rangers parted company with manager Michael Beale and despite a wide list of candidates, no new appointment has yet been made.
The Gers have made a stuttering start to their Premiership season, losing three out of their opening seven games, including the Old Firm.
They did win their Europa League opener against Real Betis, but their form on the continent was not enough to keep Beale in the dugout.
Steven Davis has been placed in temporary charge, starting against Limassol, who lost their first match to Sparta Prague. They have since followed that up with a draw and a defeat in their games in the Cypriot First Division, where they are currently fifth in the standings.
Rangers will be out to prove a point and a second victory in a row in the Europa League would put them in a great position in the group. We like their odds at 10/11 with bet365 to win on the road.
