Elizabeth Banks trips on-stage at the Oscars

Actor Elizabeth Banks nearly had a very embarassing moment on the world stage at she tripped on stage at the Oscars.

The actor and director was presenting the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects with ‘cocaine bear’ when she nearly fell over her dramatic black and white gown.

“He tripped me”, she joked, pointing at the person dressed in a bear costume.

Other winners so far have included The Whale for Best Makeup and Hairstyling and Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio for Best Animated Feature.
