Julia Saqui
Senior Video Journalist
Julia Saqui is a Senior Video Journalist at the Independent. She joined the publication in 2021 in London as the department's first US Video Journalist. In March 2022 she moved to the Independent's New York office. From there she leads the team on Eastern Time, ensuring video coverage across the Independent's US & UK sites, and social platforms. Julia is also a skilled videographer, shooting for the Independent's original documentary series across America. Previously Julia was a video journalist at the Press Association, covering a breadth of stories across politics, home affairs, sport and entertainment.
