Croatia come into the knockout stage of the World Cup undefeated and knowing that their half of the draw has opened up massively by Spain's shock elimination. Their impressive showing in the group stage saw them easily pick apart Argentina while they enjoyed commanding wins over Nigeria and Iceland.
Impressive defensive showings from the side meant that they only conceded one goal during the group stage of the competition, which came against Iceland in the form of a penalty.
Denmark have been less impressive, getting through to the knockout stage with just two goals under their belt. Their mediocre showing against Australia mean that they had to perform against France or they ran the risk of not qualifying. They were helped out massively by Peru’s surprise win over Australia that meant that their 0-0 draw against France was enough for them to take second in Group C.
