Borussia Dortmund reach the Champions League final. They’ve beaten Paris Saint-Germain twice, 1-0 in each leg of this semi-final tie to become the first team to secure their place in the European showpiece at Wembley in June.

On a frustrating night for PSG the hosts were unable to convert a flurry of chances to overturn the existing deficit. With the forward line lacking a clinical touch it was left to Gianluigi Donnarumma to deny Karim Adeyemi the opening goal with a reactionary save in the first half.

Yet, it was the visitors who eventually broke the deadlock. From a corner, Mats Hummels drifted behind Lucas Beraldo and headed the ball into the back of the net to, momentarily, silence the home supporters.

Dortmund boss, Edin Terzic, then made changes and switched to a back five formation which afforded PSG lots of possession. Cross after cross came into the box with the French side hitting the woodwork four times inside the 90 minutes. The ball wouldn’t go in though and Dortmund held on to keep their European title hopes alive.

PSG play it short to Dembele and quickly whip it into the box. It comes out to the back post again where Warren Zaire-Emery belts his effort into the nearest post!

39 mins: There’s a loud chorus of jeering from the watching fans now everytime Dortmund get the ball. They’re not happy with the way this semi-final is turning out and want to see more from there team and less from the visitors.

Donnarumma’s save could turn out to be a crucial moment in this fixture.
