Southampton take on West Brom in the Premier League’s late kick-off.

Maurcio Pellegrino’s side have only won once at home all season and sit just one point above the Premier League’s drop zone as it stands.

West Brom have made a slightly better start to the season but will be leapfrogged by Southampton if they lost at St Mary’s this evening.

Follow live coverage below.

Southampton v West Brom

Southampton: Forster, Cedric, Yoshida, van Dijk, Bertrand, Lemina, Romeu, Long, Davis, Tadic, Gabbiadini. Subs: Hoedt, Austin, McCarthy, Ward-Prowse, Boufal, Redmond, McQueen.

West Brom: Foster, Dawson, Hegazi, Evans, Gibbs, Livermore, Krychowiak, Barry, Rodriguez, Rondon, Chadli. Subs: Nyom, Yacob, Phillips, Brunt, Myhill, McClean, McAuley.

Referee: Graham Scott (Oxfordshire)

Southampton have no new injury concerns ahead of the visit of West Brom.

Manolo Gabbiadini should start, having scored twice on his return against Newcastle, but Jeremy Pied remains out.

Both Ben Foster and Boaz Myhill are injury doubts for West Brom.

James Morrison, Oliver Burke and Hal Robson-Kanu are still sidelined.

80' - Decent effort! Nathan Redmond attempts to shape one into the far corner from distance for Southampton but he doesn't get enough whip on the ball and the shot goes wide.

GOAL! Southampton 1-0 West Brom (Boufal)

85' - Well, this game doesn't deserve that goal.

Sofiane Boufal runs the length of the pitch, taking on three, four, five defenders before slotting the ball past Ben Foster and into the far corner.

Goal of the season contender? Absolutely.

If you're trying to picture it, think about Ryan Giggs' goal against Arsenal in 1999. Unbelievable stuff.

89' - West Brom are finishing this match with 10 men. Craig Dawson is off injured and Tony Pulis has no remaining substitutions.

90' - Four minutes of additional time to come.

90+4' - Off the post. Sofiane Boufal produces more magic to skip away from a couple of West Brom players in the middle of the park before measuring a lovely pass through to Charlie Austin. The substitute striker attempts to dribble around Ben Foster but takes it a little too far and his shot from a tight angle hits the post and goes out for a goal-kick.

Full-time - Southampton 1-0 West Brom

And so ends one of the worst matches you'll see all season - but it was worth sitting through to witness that late winning goal by Sofiane Boufal.

I'm going to wrap it up there. Be sure to join us again tomorrow as Everton host Arsenal before Liverpool travel to Wembley to take on Tottenham.

Goodnight!
