Matt Le Tissier and Phil Thompson have both been having their say on the red card Troy Deeney picked up against Huddersfield last weekend.
Le Tissier: "I thought it was a little bit harsh at first but actually it was a little bit nasty."
Thompson: "It (the decision) was spot on. I thought it was aggressive and he could've done some real damage with that tackle."
Deeney must now serve a four-game ban after his appeal against the sending off was rejected in midweek.
Under-pressure Stoke boss Mark Hughes has had this to say ahead of his side's home game against West Brom:
"We have to remain focused on the job in hand. It's a difficult fixture today because West Brom are in a similar situation at the moment. We're looking forward to it."
