Transfer deadline day summer 2019: The deals done so far

Follow live transfer updates throughout the day as we bring you the best of Friday’s transfer news, rumours, gossip and done deals.

Manchester United saw a £70m bid for Harry Maguire rejected earlier this week, while Manchester City broke their transfer record on Thursday when they completed the signing of defensive midfielder Rodri from Atletico Madrid. West Ham are engaged in another bitter transfer struggle with wantaway striker Marko Arnautovic, with Shanghai SIPG placing a £22m bid for the Austrian, who has since handed in another transfer request.

Arsenal‘s £40m bid for Wilfried Zaha was swiftly knocked back by Crystal Palace, however, the Gunners are still prioritising the winger over Malcom, who has reportedly been offered to the club by Barcelona. Meanwhile, another Barca star could be on his way to the Premier League after the odds on Ousmane Dembele making a switch to Liverpool overnight. Elsewhere, Juventus have lodged an opening £58.3m offer for Dutch centre-back Matthijs de Ligt. Follow all the day’s transfer news live below:

Norwich have signed goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann from German side Schalke on a season-long loan deal.

Fahrmann becomes the third player to join the Canaries following their promotion by winning the Championship, joining Patrick Roberts and Josip Drmic.

Speaking to the club's website, Fahrmann said it is the perfect time to join Norwich. “I’m really glad and proud to sign here," he said.

"To be a part of the Premier League, I think it’s a wonderful thing for all, not only for me but also for the fans and supporters of Norwich City.

“There were a few clubs who showed interest in me, but Norwich gave me a very familiar feeling and that was the reason why the decision was easy for me.

“I was at my old club for a really long time, over 14 years, and it felt like it was time for something new.

“Therefore, it was the perfect time now with Norwich in the Premier League. I’ve heard only the best things about the city and I’m looking forward to getting to know Norwich better.”

Mino Raiola added that everybody at Manchester United knows Pogba's position on his future.

United fully expect Pogba to travel with the squad with Solskjaer and his players flying to Perth on Sunday but Raiola is less sure. “I cannot tell you anything. I live day by day,” he added.

Atletico Madrid have ordered Antoine Griezmann to report for pre-season training despite him declaring two months ago he was leaving the club, as they accused the France striker of showing them a lack of respect for negotiating a move to Barcelona.

Atletico released a strongly-worded statement on their website on Friday after Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu revealed the club's CEO had held a meeting with Atletico chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin over Griezmann.

Atletico claimed that Griezmann and Barcelona had began discussing a move to the Nou Camp in February and agreed a deal in March, in the middle of their Champions League last-16 tie with Juventus which they lost 3-2 on aggregate.
