Manchester United host CSKA Moscow tonight with a place in the last 16 of the Champions League all but guaranteed. Assuming FC Basel comprehensively beat Benfica, Jose Mourinho’s men need to avoid a 6-0 defeat at the hands of their Russian opponents – a result that seems unlikely by all accounts. Still, United will be keen to end their group stage campaign on a positive note.

What time does it start?

The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday 5 December at Old Trafford.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be broadcast on BT Sport 2. Coverage starts at 7pm.

It’s a big game for…

Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian is set to lead United’s line once again after Mourinho confirmed on Monday that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not yet ready to start. With Ibrahimovic back on the scene though, the pressure is on for Lukaku to prove his worth – though a run of 12 games with just one goal to his name certainly won’t help his cause. In a match that Mourinho will want to see his side dominate, Lukaku needs to step up to the mark and deliver.

CSKA have had some decent chances in the last 10 minutes but they need to start hitting the target.

47' - Great strike. Marcus Rashford leads a United break and opts to go alone, beating a couple of defenders before unleashing a powerful drive at goal. The strike is straight at Igor Akinfeev though and the Russian goalkeeper palms the ball away.
