The two biggest names in tonight's mouthwatering clash between Real Madrid and PSG have been linked with moves to either side.

For Real Madrid's star man, Cristiano Ronaldo, rumours he wants out of Spain have lingered for years but this season, despite scintillating goal-scoring form, his Madrid side have struggled and currently sit 4th in La Liga, 17 points behind leaders Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Neymar has also been in sensational form for PSG since his world record transfer in the summer.

But suggestions that he's unhappy in Paris have been circulating since his arrival and an incredible swoop for the Brazilian to move to Real may not be too far off the cards.

We look forward to see what they can produce....

Liverpool, meanwhile, face the daunting first-leg task in the shape of 2004 Champions League winners Porto.

The opening clash of the tie will be played at the famously fiery Estadio Do Dragao where Porto have taken many an English scalp in the past, having defeated Manchester United in both 1977 and 2004 and Arsenal in 2008 and 2010.

However, the Dragons are the only Portuguese side through to the knockout stages and Liverpool have been given a boost ahead of the game with news that Nathaniel Clyne has travelled with the squad.

Early indications suggest it is very unlikely he'll feature in tonight's clash but he will be joining the team for the intense training camp in Spain following tonight's game.

When the Champions League draw is made, it's always interesting to note previous clashes and both of these ties have thrown up some exciting battles in the past:

PSG vs Real Madrid:

When both of these sides faced up in the UEFA Cup in 1993, they produced an epic two-legged affair as Les Parisiens edged their Spanish competitors courtesy of a last minute header from Antoine Kombouare.

Porto vs Liverpool:

This match-up isn't without its history, either, as these two European giants, with five Champions League titles between them, faced off in the group stages of the 2007/08 campaign.

Having drawn the match in Portugal 1-1, Liverpool blitzed the Portuguese side at Anfield as Torres and Co ran riot.

What has Jurgen Klopp been saying this week?

The Liverpool boss has been impressed with the performances of Roberto Firmino this season and had this to say about the forward earlier this week:

"I don't think he has stepped up but maybe it is more obvious because his situations are not overshadowed by Phil Coutinho's situations.

"That's how it is. That is all. He's a very important player and he doesn't always have to be the standout player. As often as he can be, that's good.

"I don't think he's underrated. Not anymore. I don't know what other people think about Roberto Firmino.

"I can imagine a bit because you ask me about it. I have no idea. People with a football brain judge him right. That's how it is."
