Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping for a better end to tonight's game against Frosinone after he was sent off in Juventus' win against Valencia in the Champions League, something which could see him ruled out of their game at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are looking to make it five wins from five La Liga matches when they host Girona - a fixture that has controversially been tipped to be played in Miami next season.

Lionel Messi's side have started the season in great form and made light work of PSV in the opening game of their Champions League group.

Follow the live action from their matches below:

When is it?

Frosinone vs Juventus kicks off at 19:30 BST at the Stadio Benito Stirpe.

Barcelona vs Girona begins at 19:45 BST at the Camp Nou.

How can I watch it?

Neither match is available on normal television, but Eleven Sports will be showing live coverage online and on their apps. The monthly streaming service is priced at £5.99 a month, or £59.99 for an annual pass.

90+4min:  GOAL! Frosinone 0-2 Juventus (Bernadeschi)

Frosinone lose possession high up the field and pay the price thanks to a swift Juve counter. Pjanic thinks he has overhit the cross but substitute Bernadeschi keeps his cool and manages to squeeze a shot under Sportiello.

90+5 min : Frosinone 0-2 Juventus

It wasn't pretty from the Old Lady, but the scoreline doesn't reflect that and nor does the continuation of their perfect start to the season.

The hosts kept the champions out for over 80 minutes before Cristiano Ronaldo popped up with his third goal with the Italian side. Federico Bernadeschi added a second on the break during added time as the hosts cautiously searched for an equaliser.

That's five wins from five then for Max Allegri, who welcome Bologna to the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday night.

80min: Barcelona 2-2 Girona

Barcelona are looking far more likely to find a winner with ten minutes to go, but Sacristan's side are holding on, just.

Messi goes on another of his mazy runs and is bundled over in the area but the referee waves away any protests, before Samuel Umtiti has a volleyed effort blocked after lovely control with his chest.

Seydou Doumbia replaces Portu as Girona show they haven't given up hope of a winner themselves. Will they get it?

89 min: Barcelona 2-2 Girona

Another penalty appeal, but another failed one from Barcelona's point of view as Sergio Busquets goes down far too easily after slight contact from former Stoke defender Marc Muniesa.

Busquets' teammate Coutinho comes much closer to scoring, but his trademark curling effort from the left doesn't come back enough to nestle into the far corner.

Three minutes added on at the Camp Nou. Is there time for a winner?

90+3 min: Barcelona 2-2 Girona

Barcelona's run as the only team with a perfect 100% record in La Liga is over, and visitors Girona should largely thank Cristhian Stuani's double for that. The Uruguayan cancelled out Messi's opener before turning the game round with a powerful drive early in the second half. Barcelona responded through Gerard Pique, who had a mixed evening, but ultimately they failed to find that late winner.

The Catalan giants remain top, however only on goal difference, with Real Madrid's 1-0 win over Espanyol yesterday putting them level on points with Ernesto Valverde's side.

So that's a wrap. Six goals, one red card and a whole lot more from Serie A and La Liga tonight.

It looked like Juventus were going to be the super club held tonight after a dogged if uninspiring performance from 19th placed Frosinone, but Cristiano Ronaldo rescued Max Allegri's men, just as he did on countless occasions for Real Madrid. Federico Bernadeschi then made sure of the points to extend their 100% record to five games.

Nevertheless, a perfect record was lost tonight in Spain as Barcelona were held 2-2 by Girona. Messi and Pique scored either side of a Cristhian Stuani double, but the pressure is now on Barcelona to bounce back after their lead at the top of the table was wiped out following Real Madrid's victory yesterday.

We'll leave it there for this evening, but before we do, here's a picture which perfectly encapsulates the Barcelona performance tonight. Thank you for joining us and make sure to keep your eyes peeled this week as the midweek domestic games make a return.
