Tesla is recalling all 46,100 Cybertrucks sold due to a faulty adhesive used on a side panel near the windshield.
The recall, overseen by the NHTSA, addresses the risk of the panel detaching while driving, posing a hazard.
Tesla will replace the panel free of charge, with owner notifications expected by May 19th.
This marks the eighth recall for the Cybertruck since its launch, with previous issues including faulty inverters, stuck accelerator pedals, and problems with wipers and display screens.
The recall comes amid escalating tensions surrounding Tesla, with organized protests planned and strong warnings from President Trump against vandalism.
