Toulouse vs Liverpool betting tips:
- Liverpool -1 handicap - 10/3 William Hill

- Thijs Dallinga to have over 0.5 shots on target – 4/6 Unibet
Liverpool head to Toulouse on Thursday night knowing a win will see them advance to the Europa League knockout stage (5.45pm, TNT Sports 1).
The Reds have won all three of their previous Group E encounters, including a 5-1 hammering of Toulouse last time out at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s men ran riot that night as Diogo Jota, Wataru Endo, Darwin Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Mohamed Salah all found the net.
Liverpool can now clinch a place in the last 16 if they beat the French outfit at Stadium de Toulouse and Union Saint-Gilloise fail to defeat LASK in the other contest in the section.
Klopp will be hopeful of a stronger performance from his team after requiring a last-minute equaliser on the road at Luton Town in the Premier League.
Tahith Chong put the Hatters on course for a famous win before Luis Diaz came off the bench and rescued a point for the Reds.
Football betting sites have Liverpool as the overwhelming favourites get back to winning ways in France although it may not be as straightforward given the result at Kenilworth Road.
Here are our predictions for the Europa League clash.
A comfortable Liverpool win?
Although Liverpool laboured to a draw at Luton, the Reds have taken care of business in the Europa League.
Klopp’s men have beaten all three opponents handily as the quality in the final third has been too much for them to contain over the course of 90 minutes.
Against Toulouse, Liverpool were relentless after conceding an early equaliser. Nunez and Jota were a constant headache, while Salah’s introduction in the second half only added to the list of problems.
Liverpool can always throw talent onto the pitch such is their depth in the attacking third. After a disappointing performance in the Premier League there could be a reaction from the Reds.
With the opportunity to potentially seal a place in the knockout round with two games to spare, Klopp will want his team to be ruthless. Toulouse are winless in five in all competitions, including three defeats on the bounce.
So, we’re backing Liverpool to secure a fourth win on the bounce in the competition and to win by at least two clear goals with odds of 10/3 with William Hill on the –1 handicap.
Nunez to find the net
After an inconsistent start to his Liverpool career, Nunez is beginning to look worth the £80m the Reds paid for him. The Uruguayan was criticised for his poor form and there were suggestions that he could be a high-profile flop.
But, Nunez has responded in this campaign, beginning with his match-winning brace against Newcastle as the Reds triumphed with 10 men on the road.
There has been a huge difference in his impact in the final third. The 24-year-old is averaging 4.57 shots per game and is hitting the target with 43.2 per cent of his attempts.
It has resulted in a dramatic improvement on the stat sheet. He has scored seven goals in 15 appearances in all competitions, including two in the Europa League.
Nunez found the net against LASK and Toulouse last time out, putting in a complete performance at Anfield.
Nunez ended his run of scoring in three straight matches after failing to fire at Luton last time out, despite registering three shots on target. Despite a couple of misses against Luton, he is in good form and more importantly has confidence on his side.
We’re backing him to score any time against Toulouse at odds of 11/10 with bet365.
Will Dallinga pose a threat?
Thijs Dallinga caused a stir at Anfield when he cancelled out Jota’s opener in the 16th minute.
The Dutchman surged through on goal and displayed great composure to find the net. Dallinga has been a constant threat in the final third this term for Toulouse, scoring five goals in all competitions.
He always seems to ask questions of his opponents highlighted by the fact he has mustered 27 attempts on goal this season, 14 of which were on target.
Liverpool and Europa League keeper Caoimhin Kelleher will have to be on guard against Dallinga.
The forward has registered at least one shot on target in his last seven games, and his odds with UK betting sites are worthy of consideration to extend that run to eight.
We’re backing him to have at least one shot on target at 4/6 with Unibet.
Tip: Thijs Dallinga to have over 0.5 shots on target – 4/6 Unibet
