Chelsea will be searching for their first victory of the Premier League season when they take on Luton Town on Friday (8pm, Sky Sports).
After a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on the opening weekend, Chelsea slumped to a 3-1 defeat by West Ham United last time out.
They are yet to win a competitive game under Mauricio Pochettino, who will want to see a response from his team here.
Luton are the underdogs with football betting sites as they strive to beat Chelsea for the first time since December 1991.
Chelsea vs Luton tips: Blues will seek fast start
Chelsea are used to challenging for the Premier League title. It is remarkable, therefore, that they have won a grand total of one top-flight game since March.
In truth, there has been very little for Chelsea fans to cheer during the Todd Boehly era.
The club has spent an astonishing amount of money and beaten rivals to the signatures of promising players, but as of yet we have not seen an on-field return at Stamford Bridge.
However, this looks like the perfect game for the Blues to get up and running under Pochettino.
A return of one point from a possible six at the start of the campaign is not ideal but there have been some positives to take from their two performances to date.
Chelsea were the better team against Liverpool on the opening weekend. A loss to West Ham was disappointing, but the result could have been different had Pochettino’s team been more clinical with the chances they created.
There is clearly room for improvement and the Blues will not want to fall too far behind the top four, even at this early stage of the season.
But it is difficult to envisage newly promoted Luton causing Chelsea too many problems on Friday night.

Luton will aim to get physical at the Bridge
Luton were on the wrong end of a 4-1 thrashing in their first ever Premier League game, as they went down to Brighton and Hove Albion on the south coast.
The Hatters were not in action last weekend after their game against Burnley was postponed due to ongoing renovations at Kenilworth Road.
That means Rob Edwards and his coaching staff have had plenty of time to prepare for the trip to west London, though betting sites have slim hope for them with NetBet rating an away win a 12/1 chance.
Luton won promotion with a direct, physical style of play. They are not afraid to get the ball back to front quickly, with strike duo Elijah Adebayo and Carlton Morris their main aerial targets.
Neither forward shirks a challenge and we will no doubt see both players look to outmuscle the Chelsea defenders tasked with marking them.
Only seven players were booked more often than Morris in the Championship last term, so do not be surprised if the striker’s name is taken by the referee.
Tip: Carlton Morris to be shown a card - 47/20 with Unibet
Sterling can build on excellent West Ham display
One of the bright spots in Chelsea’s defeat by West Ham was Raheem Sterling, who delivered his best display for the club.
The winger was electric. West Ham had no answer to his close control, direct dribbling and lightning pace. Sterling won the penalty that was missed by Enzo Fernandez, a key turning point in the game.
The England international has played in a variety of attacking positions during his career and in this Chelsea system he is thriving on the right.
Sterling still has license to drift inside and he will look to take up scoring positions when the ball is on the left.
He was a threat throughout the West Ham game, but the player himself will be disappointed that he only managed one shot at the London Stadium.
Against a Luton backline that shipped four goals in its opening encounter of 2023/24, Sterling should get more opportunities. The 28-year-old looks like an astute pick in the anytime goalscorer market on Friday evening.
Tip: Raheem Sterling to score any time - 11/8 with Bet365
