The case of Yvonne, whose distress following a mugging was broadcast by LWT, typifies media intrusion on victims at times of grief ("Victim `mugged' again...", 4 May). It is not good enough for a TV company to argue that the victim did not express concern. Footage should always be shown to victims and broadcast only with permission.
