Just Stop Oil protesters rush stage at the Royal Albert Hall on opening night of the proms

Two Just Stop Oil protesters rushed the stage at the opening night of the Proms at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The duo stormed on to the stage, unfurling an orange banner and attempting to address the audience before being led away by security staff.

The protesters were met with boos from some members of the audience.

The environmental group said on Twitter that its supporters were "demanding the UK Government immediately halt all new oil and gas consents and licences.”
