Carol Vorderman says Cheltenham pictures with Matt Hancock were ‘a set up’

Carol Vorderman has claimed photographs of her and Matt Hancock at Cheltenham Festival were a “bloody set-up”.

The two were spotted talking at the races months after Vorderman slammed the former health secretary over his I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! appearance.

On Tuesday night, the TV star took to social media to hit back at the suggestion she had been “cosying up” to Mr Hancock.

“Talk about a bloody set-up... honestly,” Vorderman said, after explaining her side of the story.

“What are you meant to do? I was brought up to be polite.”
