Ncuti Gatwa opens up on nerves ahead of Doctor Who debut

Ncuti Gatwa opened up on his nerves about his Doctor Who debut during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, 15 December.

The actor, 31, makes his debut as the timelord on Christmas Day after auditioning for the iconic role in February 2022.

Speaking ahead of his first episode later in December, Gatwa told the Graham Norton sofa that he would be watching the episode with his family.

“It’s nerve-wracking. My dad will give me notes, I feel,” Gatwa added.
