Hannah Waddingham learns Ukrainian during the Eurovision semi-final

Hannah Waddingham showed up her language-learning skills as she tried to speak Ukrainian on the second night of the Eurovision semi-final.

Interacting with the Ukrainian singer and co-host Julia Sanina, Ms Waddingham tried to pronounce ‘Shchedryk’, the Ukrainian name for Silence of the Bells, the song that was performed earlier by Ukrainian performers.

The Ted Lasso’s star stunned the audience with her yellow dress and her fluent French once again as she was presenting the show on BBC One, and even tried to learn how to pronounce ‘United by music’ in Ukrainian.
