Kate Winslet cries as she dedicates Bafta award to daughter
Kate Winslet cried as she dedicated her win to her daughter at Sunday’s Bafta Television Awards ceremony.
The star won the leading actress award for Channel 4 drama I Am Ruth and burst into tears after her name was read.
Daughter and co-star Mia Threapleton, 22, also broke down as she congratulated her mother.
“If I could cut this in half, I would give the other half to my daughter... we did this together kiddo,” Winslet said as she accepted the Bafta.
