Kerala floods: Couple sail to wedding in large cooking pot

An Indian couple have not let recent flooding in the country get in the way of their wedding plans, as they enlisted the help of a cooking pot – and two men – to get them to their nuptials.

The bride told local media channel Asianet that: “It has turned into a wedding which we never imagined.”

Flooding and subsequent landslides due to the heavy rain have left at least 28 people dead in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
