Yes it’s only a month away and if you’re yearning for a break from the cold but haven’t decided where to go, then look first at family favourite Orlando. Complete Orlando ( completeorlando.com) is offering a week at the three-star Imperial Swan Hotel, near International Drive, for £455 per person. The price is based on two adults and two under-12s sharing a room and includes US Airways flights departing Gatwick on 14 February.
Looking east, Netflights ( netflights.com) has three nights at the five-star Atlantis The Palm in Dubai for £559 per person for departures between 14-16 February. The price includes Qatar Airways flights from Heathrow and B&B accommodation. Alternatively, you could hole up in North Devon for just £29 per person in an apartment in Woolacombe Bay resort ( woolacombe.com/bp), which comes with swimming pools, tennis, a cinema and golf course. The price is for a three-night weekend break commencing 12 February or for a four-night midweek break commencing 15 February.
If you’re not tied to school holidays, then Virgin Holidays Cruises ( virginholidayscruises.co.uk) has a seven-night Emirates cruise departing 29 January for £649 per person. Costa Luminosa takes in Dubai, Bahrain, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi and Muscat and the trip includes flights from Heathrow, transfers and full board in an inside cabin.
Meanwhile, St Kitts is looking like this year’s Caribbean hot spot and BA Holidays ( ba.com/sale) has a holiday on offer here for £849 per person at the three-star Ocean Terrace Inn. The price includes a week’s room only and British Airways flights departing between 1-23 March or 20 April – 18 June. In Thailand, letsgo2.com has 10 nights in Pattaya at the Amari Orchid Resort for £659 per person, including Eva Airways flights from Heathrow departing up until 21 March, transfers and room only accommodation.
Finally, Kirker Holidays ( kirkerholidays.com) is offering a three-night city break in this year’s European Capital of Culture, Istanbul, for £588 per person, which includes B&B at the boutique-style Sultanhan hotel, flights departing London up until 18 March and private transfers.
