Your support makes all the difference.Two Britons died in a helicopter crash in Majorca yesterday. The helicopter, which is understood to be privately owned, crashed on the south west tip of the island. The Foreign Office said family members had been informed.
Meanwhile, in an incident in the Channel, an air sea rescue operation was under way after a light aircraft ditched. The single engine plane was carrying two people when it went down while en route from Lee-on-Solent to Alderney in the Channel Islands. The two on board were thought to be husband and wife. The woman was airlifted to Cherbourg hospital, in France.
Maritime officials said last a search was continuing for the man who it is thought was the pilot.
