Mark Hughes and Ian Rush have been left out of the Wales team to play Albania in Tirana on 15 November in their final European Championship qualifier.

Bobby Gould, the Wales manager, has decided to start the game with the 11 players who began last month's 2-1 defeat by Germany in Cardiff. "I have explained everything to Mark and other senior players such as Ian Rush, and there is no confrontation of any kind whatsoever," Gould said.
