Conor McGregor has made the weight for his fight with Floyd Mayweather, weighing in at 153-pounds on Friday, comfortably below the 154-pound weight limit.

Mayweather meanwhile weighed in at a very trim 149.5-pounds, meaning he will be considerably smaller than McGregor in the ring, with the Irishman also boasting a height and reach advantage over his rival.

The two men weighed in before a raucous crowd at the T-Mobile Arena, which will also host their super-welterweight clash on Saturday night.

The crowd included thousands of McGregor’s Irish fans, who sang loudly throughout and booed Mayweather when he appeared on stage.

McGregor immediately pledged that he would weigh closer to 170-pounds in the ring on Saturday night, but Mayweather said he was unconcerned by the threat.

“Weight doesn’t win fights, fighting wins fights,” he said, to jeers from the crowd.

Tickets were free for the event, and fans got a show from hip-hop star YG beforehand.
