Conor McGregor allegedly punched an elderly man inside a Dublin pub it has emerged.

The UFC superstar is reported by TMZ Sports to have engaged in a dispute with the man over his own brand of whiskey.

A video of the shocking incident at The Marble Arch Pub in Dublin from last April has been released by the US website.

The report claims the Irish fighter attempted to buy a round of his Proper Twelve whiskey for all in attendance.

But the alleged victim is said to have rejected the offer from McGregor on two occasions after having a cup placed in front of him.

McGregor then appears to down a drink himself before allegedly unleashing a left hook on the defenceless man.

The former featherweight and lightweight champion is then seemingly hauled out of the pub by two men.

The man who took the punch was not knocked off his bar stool despite the clean shot.

McGregor has been out of the Octagon since October last year when he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
