Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Slough, setting the pace in the Premier Division of the men's National League, travel to Southampton on Sunday with an unchanged squad, following last week's 3-0 win against Balsam Leicester, but will be without their coach, John Shaw. He will be playing for Southgate. Promoted Trojans, who lost 2-1 at Doncaster, will be pressed to hold the powerful Slough machine, which really did not have a weakness against Leicester.
Michelle Robertson and Ann Bevan, the Welsh internationals, return to the Clifton side for their visit to Leicester but Rachel O'Bryan, injured against Australia last weekend in Cardiff, will be missing. Leicester have no injury problems.
Hightown, the champions who were fortunate to take full points against Clifton last week, entertain Ipswich. With both sides expecting to be at full strength, this should be top fixture.
Newly promoted Olton made an impressive start in First Division and appear to have quickly mastered the new "no off side" rule when they put seven past Blueharts last weekend. They visit Bradford Swithenbank.
