Worcestershire have been boosted by the news that Tom Moody will be available for the whole of the forthcoming season, after being overlooked for the Australia A tour of England this summer. Graeme Hick has also reported fit for training, following his recovery from a back injury which cut short his Ashes tour.

Essex have appointed Nasser Hussain as vice-captain to the new skipper, Paul Prichard, for the forthcoming county championship season.
