This is the endorsement Harry Kane needs to lead England to victory tonight. Up the lads.

In action:

No breaks in service yet on No.2 Court or No.3 Court, where Konta and Del Portro are in action.

The Argentine earlier slipped at the baseline - the latest player to take a tumble - but he seems to be moving with his usual bullish grace.

In action:

We have our first break as Del Potro gets one over on Gojowczyk to move 4-2 up in their opening set on No.3 Court. The much-loved Argentine looks to be finding his groove.

In action:

Del Potro holds serve, he's up 5-2 and on course for victory in this first set. Meanwhile, Konta has yet to find a break through against Vikhlyantseva. She's currently serving to make it 4-4.

Konta 7-5 Vikhlyantseva

Johanna Konta finally breaks her Russian opponent before going on to claim the first set. It's been a relatively close affair so far but Vikhlyantseva's disposition for double-faults certainly isn't helping her cause... The Briton has improved as the match has worn on and now looks to be in control.

Del Potro 6-3 2-2 Gojowczyk

The Argentine saw out the first set in relative comfort and is now looking to take it up a notch against the German here at No.3 Court.

Andre Agassi backed England to keep their World Cup dream alive by beating Colombia as football fever hit Wimbledon.

The 1992 Wimbledon winner admitted he is still reeling from reigning world champions Germany's shock exit from Russia 2018's group stages. The American is married to German tennis great Steffi Graf.

But the 48-year-old still found the time to back Gareth Southgate's England, who take on Colombia in the last 16 on Tuesday night.

Del Potro 6-3 4-4 Gojowczyk

A close call for DelPo, who was two break points down with the German poised to move ahead in this second set. But in trademark fashion, the Argentine clawed his way back into the game, taking it to advantage with a sweet backhand stroke down the line before sealing it with a thumping serve that Gojowczyk could only flail at in a hopeless attempt to make the return. Tied at 4-4.
