From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Rafael Nadal will look to secure his first title since winning his ninth French Open crown way back in May, with victory in Buenos Aires against Juan Monaco tonight.

The World number four, aiming for a 65th career title, has dispatched three Argentinians on route to the final and faces another home hope in good friend Monaco, who is contesting his third final here.

The 14-time Grand Slam winner has won all of their five clay court meetings and remarkably the Tandil native has won just 13 games in 12 sets against Rafa.

The Spaniard, 28, is looking to rediscover his best form ahead of the North American hard court masters swing after being hindered by a wrist injury and appendicitis in 2014.

ODDS:

Nadal to win: 1.12

Monaco to win: 7.5
