In a separate development yesterday French police raided the Paris offices of the Marseille president, Bernard Tapie, for the fifth time in a month in connection with the allegations.
SEVILLE have fined Diego Maradona between dollars 3 and dollars 3.5m ( pounds 2- pounds 2.4m) for behaviour detrimental to the club it has been reported in Spain. Maradona, who is in Argentina, was sacked by Seville at the end of June.
