The Blackburn Rovers winger Damien Duff has agreed a new five- year deal with the club.

Crewe have agreed a pounds 150,000 fee with Crystal Palace for the out-of-favour defender Gareth Davies.

Millwall have signed the 32-year-old former Middlesbrough striker Paul Wilkinson from Barnsley for pounds 150,000.

The world champions, Brazil, and Argentina have been invited by the Irish Football Association to play Northern Ireland in Belfast before the World Cup in France next year.

Ibrox Park has been chosen as the venue this season's Scottish Coca-Cola Cup final, which will be played on 30 November. Although the semi-final ties have still to take place, Rangers are already eliminated. The Challenge Cup final, between Falkirk and Queen of the South, will be at Fir Park, Motherwell, on Sunday 2 November.
